How To Customise Your Trip On The Camino de Santiago
No Camino trip is likely to be the same as another and that’s the beauty of it! Everyone enjoys their own unique experience of the Camino and you can too!
It is easy for us to customize your trip! We offer a range of options, such as additional nights, split walking days, airport transfers, hotel upgrades, extra activities on the Camino, etc.

How do I customise my trip?
Step 1: Choose your Camino route.
Our most popular Camino route is the Last 100 km of the Camino Frances. Although we have many Camino routes on our website which you can research and decide on which is best to suit your needs. If you want to meet fellow pilgrims, the Camino Frances is very social. But if you want a quieter more reflective Camino, the Via de la Plata might be a better option.
Step 2: Click on “See Prices & Book” to get a quote
This button will be visible on the top and bottom of the route page.
Step 3: Select your desired Start Date
The system will automatically add an end date. For example with the Camino Frances Last 100 km, because it is a 6-night trip by default, the end date will be set at 7 days in the future. This means there are 5 walking days with a day of traveling either side.
Your start date will reflect the day you arrive at your starting point e.g. if you are doing the last 100 km on the Camino Frances, your starting date will be the day you arrive at Sarria and check into your hotel. Your walk will commence the next day.
Step 4: Select Activity

Step 5: Select Accommodation Type

Standard – a nice hotel with an en-suite room.

Country Cottages – A farm stay with large gardens and sometimes pools in the summer.

Superior – The best available! Sometimes the accommodation will be standard or cottages, but when available we upgrade you to 4 or 5-star hotels. Read more about our accommodation types.
Step 6: Select Room Type
- Choose between Single (1 person) Double (1/2 persons), Twin (2 persons) Triple room (3 persons) and Quad Room (4 persons)
Step 7: Option to modify your starting point or finishing point
- You have the option to change your starting point or finishing point (If you would like to walk more or less)
- If you do not change anything here, the default starting and finishing points will be used.
Step 8: Option to change your stops along the way
- You have also the option to change the stages (stops) along the walk (if you want to walk more/less each day)
- If you do not change anything here, the default starting and finishing points will be used.

Step 9: Select Add-ons / Extras
- You also have the option to add some additional things to make your trip extra special e.g. a Tapas tour in Santiago.
- Dinner, Luggage Transfers, Holiday Pack and Free Postponement are included as standard.
Step 10: Get your price and save your quote
- By Pressing Continue the next page will take you to your quote price based on your selections above.
- You will receive this quote by email also and it will be valid for a period of 7 days.
- You can modify any aspect of your booking directly from your quote email by clicking on Manage Trip below:
- If you are ready, you can also make a deposit payment directly from your email by clicking on Make Payment.
