New to the Camino? Three things worth knowing

1. You don’t have to walk 800 km. Walking the last 100 km into Santiago, or cycling the last 200 km, is enough to earn the Compostela, the pilgrim certificate.

2. You don’t carry your bags. Every trip includes luggage transfers. You walk with a day pack; your case is waiting at the next hotel.

3. Alone or with a group, your choice. Self-guided means you start any day and walk at your own pace, with everything booked. Guided tours run on set dates with a guide and a group.
