Easy Walking Collection

Shorter days of 10–18 km, so you can walk at your own pace, stop in the villages and still reach Santiago, or Siena.

10 to 18km per day

Our Camino Easy Walking Collection is designed for those looking to experience the Camino de Santiago and the Via Francigena at a relaxed pace. You will walk 10-18km daily to do the Camino at your own pace. The Camino Easy Walking Collection is ideal for those new to walking holidays or who feel like they wouldn’t be physically able to walk 20-30km daily. You can also read our Camino fitness assessment post.

Easy Walking FAQs

Q: How far will I walk each day?
A: Most days are 10–18 km. Each trip page shows the distance of every stage.

Q: I’ve never done a walking holiday. Is this right for me?
A: Yes. This collection was designed for first-timers. Our Camino fitness plan helps you prepare.

Q: Will I get the Compostela on an easy trip?
A: Yes, on the trips that walk the last 100 km into Santiago. The Via Francigena trip ends in Siena, not Santiago.

Q: Do I carry my luggage?
A: No. Luggage transfers move your bags to your next accommodation each day.
