Celebrating Women on the Camino
Each March, the world comes together to celebrate women for International Women’s Day, and each year, we organize three women-only Camino guided tours. Whether you are a seasoned female adventurer or this is your first time embarking on a long-distance walk, the guided Camino tours allow you to enjoy this unique experience with fellow walkers.
CaminoWays.com, the Camino de Santiago walking and cycling specialist has launched Women on the Camino Guided tours to celebrate International Women’s Day. We have new departure dates for next year, and these special women-only tours promise to be fun-filled adventures.
This unique tour will take the group to Galicia’s Rías Baixas region, famous for its ample seafood and tasty Albariño white wine. The group will walk the last 100 km of the Portuguese Coastal Way, a Camino route with fantastic views of the Ocean, great beaches, and historic towns such as Pontevedra and the coastal town of Baiona.
Walking along forest tracks, peaceful hamlets, and country villages… the group will meet fellow Camino pilgrims on their way to Santiago. Once in Santiago de Compostela, the city of St James, it will be time to celebrate your journey! The team, led by an experienced local guide, will also be able to request their ‘Compostela’ certificate, awarded to pilgrims who walk at least the last 100 km into Santiago.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join this fantastic guided tour and share the Camino experience with a friendly group.
