WIN a week walking the Via Francigena for you and a friend

This month we have a very special competition for the chance to win a week walking in Tuscany on the romantic Via Francigena trail. Your trip will include flights for two people, accommodation and luggage transfers each day. This is the perfect opportunity to experience some of the best walking trails in Italy.  For the month of April we have teamed up with the Sunday Business Posts to encourage business owners, executives and friends to switch off for a week and enjoy getting back to your creative self out on some of Europe’s most beautiful walking trails.

TO ENTER THE COMPETITION YOU NEED TO EITHER SUBSCRIBE TO THE SUNDAY BUSINESS POST OR ENTER THE CODES THAT ARE FEATURED IN THE SUNDAY BUSINESS POST NEWSPAPER

The prizewinner will have the chance to bring a friend or family member on  the walk of lifetime through the beautiful landscapes of Italy on the historic Via Francigena trail.

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATULATIONS TO SIOBHAN FITZPATRICK. YOU AND A FRIEND ARE OFF TO TUSCANY.

On this tour you will be walking the ancient Via Francigena trail from the walled town of Lucca to spectacular Siena, walking through woodlands, beside vineyards and across rolling hills. You will visit some UNESCO World heritage sites, including San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Siena where you have time to sample the local food and wines.

Today this route is popular for many reasons. Whether you need an escape from the screens, time to switch off from your busy life or you need to take a break to let your creative self shine again, this is a truly unique experience.

Along the way you will enjoy meeting fellow walkers, soaking up the varied scenery, getting your pilgrim passport stamped and tasting the delicious Italian cuisine and sipping wine each evening.

Discovered walking breaks last year. Came home early due to dreadful blisters. Have learned my lesson and would really like the opportunity to complete a walk. Have everything ready and properly prepared this time.
