However please be aware that in order to get your official Compostela pilgrim certificate in Santiago you’ll have to walk at least the last 100kms into the city. This is the only catch and for many pilgrims, this is one of the most important aspects of the pilgrimage.
This tour is great for a long weekend and to give you a taste of the Camino so that you might return to do the full route in the future.
Discover the Galician culture and meet fellow pilgrims not forgetting to stop in the pueblos to taste delicious food while you enjoy the rolling hills of the countryside.
Enjoy some fresh pulpo (octopus) in Melide to prepare yourself for this journey and then make your way from the town across woods, villages, and towns in the rolling hills of Galicia.
In the end, the medieval Santiago awaits for you for an always emotional arrival to the cathedral where pilgrims from the 4 corners of the world finish this adventure.
