The CaminoWays.com Walking Festival #caminofestirl takes place on Saturday 25th July 2015, St James Day.

The guided walks will depart from Laragh GAA Club car park, in County Wicklow.
The 13km guided trail will start at 9.30am. See Route Map.

These will be guided walks and will be escorted by CaminoWays.com staff.
Before the walks, fitness specialists from Raw Condition will be showing walkers the best pre-walking stretches.
Check your emails for your ticket. You can either print it or download to your phone.
As you check in, you will be given a voucher so you can enter the draw and it will also entitle you to a complimentary taste of paella from FoodFiesta.ie. Your ticket gives you access to parking space, a place in your selected walk, one plate of food and other activities taking place on the day organised by partners, as well as entering our draw with prizes provided by partners.

Tickets are non refundable but can be transferred to other people. Please stay in the designated CaminoWays.com event area during the festival.
After the walks, from 1.30pm to 2.30, we will have paella from FoodFiesta.ie (don’t lose your voucher!) and enjoy some tunes from Galician singer Susana Garrido.
At 2.30pm we will pick the winners for the big draw, make sure you enter your details before then!

WHAT TO BRING
Suitable walking boots or shoes.
Snacks and plenty of water.
Sun protection (hat, sun block lotion, sun glasses).
Suitable clothing: we recommend light, quick drying trousers (no jeans); waterproof/windproof jacket and layers to make sure you stay warm.
There is parking space at the festival, located at the Laragh GAA grounds. The car park at Laragh GAA grounds will be supervised but users park at their own risk. We recommend you don’t leave any visible valuable items in your car.
Also, as you park your car before the walk, we recommend you leave a piece of paper with your name and phone number, as well as number of people walking with you. This is just to ensure there is nobody left behind at the end of the day. There will be no parking at the Brockagh Centre.

This year we are delighted to have CMRF Crumlin on board. CMRF Crumlin, the fundraising body of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and The National Children’s Research Centre is the official charity partner for the festival. CMRF Crumlin have one simple mission – to improve the quality of life for this and future generations of sick children and their families. Their volunteers will be raising much needed funds on the day, make sure you support their extraordinary work.
SAFETY AND LEAVE NO TRACE
Greenlife Tours Ltd trading as CaminoWays.com is not responsible for incidents that could happen during the event. However, the Order of Malta will be present at the event in case of emergency. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. We urge participants to follow basic safety rules provided by guides and CaminoWays.com staff, as well as respecting the environment and follow a ‘leave no trace’ code on the day.
FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Filming and photography of the event will take place during the festival for future CaminoWays.com promotional materials. By attending this event you understand you might be filmed or photographed during the duration of the festival. These materials might be used for promotional purposes by CaminoWays.com and festival partners in the future.
By booking tickets and attending the CaminoWays.com Walking Festival, I acknowledge that this is an athletic event, carrying the potential for injury and property loss and death. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, staff, spectators, event officials and event monitors; lack of hydration, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event.
I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.
I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns.
