    Hi Anita,

Thank you for getting in touch and I fully understand your concerns. I have asked a member of our Customer Care team to get in touch as soon as possible.

I’m very disappointed that I am being charged a change fee of €40 for my booking on 4th August. My booking was made on 29th February, day of first confirmed case of Covid-19 in Ireland. Also, a cancellation fee of €180 seems very unfair given pandemic. I have been issued with my travel documents for 4th August so seems to be going ahead but I still don’t know for sure if flights booked with Aerlingus will be running on schedule or if quarantine on returning to Ireland will still be an issue.

Disappointed that you need to charge customers an additional 180 Euros to postpone a trip due to a global pandemic. Our trip is booked for June 12th, but was attached to an itinerary that left us leaving the US on May 31st. We had to cancel a cruise to Europe, many Airbnb’s, etc. All vendors we have dealt with didn’t charge a penalty. I hope you will reconsider.

Dear Robert, we’ve sent your request to our Customer Care team and they’ll be in touch directly to review your booking. Just bear in mind they are prioritising trips departing in the coming days so they might take a couple of days to respond but they will review all requests. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Kind regards.

I am scheduled to pilgrimage from Florence to Assisi, starting on June 4th. I would like to change my start date to Friday, October 3rd, but the system would not allow a change. Can that be done now, or do I need to wait until you get greater clarity about government restrictions, etc.? Thanks in advance.

Dear Friends at Camino Ways – I have read the above comments that you are contacting all customers. I made a direct inquiry last Thursday 3/12 to reschedule my trip but I have not heard anything back yet. Would you kindly let me know what the “wait time” is for response?

Hi Loretta, thank you for your suggestions. We are currently contacting all customers travelling in the coming weeks to change their travel dates for later on in the year. If you are travelling with us in April, please send us your reference code to and we’ll be able to arrange that for you. Kindest regards.
