At CaminoWays.com we are celebrating St James Day with a special offer: we are giving 10% off self-guided tours for all bookings from Monday 18th to Monday 25th July, St James Day.
St James Day, the feast of St James, is one of the most special days on the Camino de Santiago, the Way of St James. The famous pilgrim trails across France, Portugal and Spain take thousands of walkers and cyclists to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, in North West Spain, each year.
More than a pilgrimage, the Camino has become an international phenomenon and unique cultural experience, attracting travellers of all creeds, ages and nationalities. Over 5000 Irish pilgrims received their ‘Compostela’ certificate in Santiago in 2015.
In addition, our Irish clients are invited to take part in St James Day celebrations at the CaminoWays.com office in Blackpitts, Dublin 8, on Thursday 21st July from 5.30pm.
It is a free event but there are limited spaces, so those interested should get their tickets here: St James Day Celebrations.
The event will opened by Today FM presenter and Camino-fan Phil Cawley and attendees will be treated to Spanish tapas, music as well as prizes. A photography exhibition: Humans of the Camino by Belfast-based photographer Joe Laverty will be launched on the day and will be open for visitors for a whole month.
Get 10% OFF your Camino trip, booking before Monday 25th July, St James Day.
