My sister Martina had wanted to do The Camino but unfortunately she was suffering a serious illness. I promised her that when she got better we would do it together but alas she never recovered and subsequently passed away. In 2017 I completeld The French Way in her memory. I have many memories but completing The Camino with Martina on my t-shirt was special!

    Hi Ann Marie,

What a lovely surprise to see your warm smile on the Camino Ways website – and the lovely picture of the t-shirt you wore on the last day of your walk with us on the Camino. Thanks for bringing back up the memory of that week in September – I had a ball on the Camino with you all and it was a pleasure to walk with you. Your sister would have been so happy to see you enjoy the Camino and make loads of new friends.

    Buen Camino

    Hi Anne Maria,
Your are an inspiration to me. Our son Damien passed away suddenly in September aged 35. We alway hill walked together and spoke often about completely the French Way. Your idea with T shirt of your beloved sister is a great one which I intend to copy next year when I will walk the Camino for Damien.
Well done on your walk and your fitting tribute to your sister.
    Best wishes

Well done Ann Marie. I am sure your sister was with you in spirit on your Camino. My wife and I did our first Camino in 2017 and will do another in 2018. One was not enough. : ).

    • Ann Marie Clyne says:

Thanks for comments Paul and Sally – I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I definitely agree one Camino is not enough, I definitely have the bug now … Best regards, Ann Marie
