“A moderate to challenging walk through the spectacular Tuscan countryside from hilltop medieval walled city to hilltop walled city on the Via Francigena. We’d read on various blogs that the trail is not as well waymarked as the Camino to Santiago de Compostela so we were thrilled to find that the trail is actually well waymarked (however this section is all I’ve had experience with). CW provided useful walking notes and maps. Having the CW contact phone number with us gave us a lot of confidence too. Camino Ways booked very good hotels for us that was easy to find from the Camino.
We booked our own transportation. My friends and I flew into Pisa for a little sightseeing before taking the train to begin the Camino from Lucca and took the train from Siena to Rome for some quick sightseeing before flying home. A truly memorable experience.
Thank you Camino Ways for the excellent support!”
