Portuguese Coastal Way from Baiona to Santiago – departing 5th September
The Portuguese Coastal Way guided tour departs from the elegant coastal town of Baiona, in Galicia. This tour takes pilgrims on a coastal trail in the Rías Baixas region, famous for its white Albarino wine and seafood; before joining the classic Portuguese Camino route in Redondela and heading to charming Pontevedra city, Padrón (where St James reputedly first landed in Galicia) and Santiago. This is one of our new guided tours this year. Due to its popularity, we have added a second date departing on 5th September.
French Way from St Jean Pied de Port to Estella – departing 18th September
Experience the first stage of the famous Camino Francés, as you depart from St Jean Pied de Port, in France, and walk across the Pyrenees. Other highlights include the city of Pamplona, famous for its Summer running of the bulls festival; the iconic pilgrim statue at Alto del Perdón with fantastic panoramic views and lively Camino medieval towns such as Estella-Lizarra.
French Way from Sarria to Santiago – departing 26th September
This is our best selling tour, covering the last section of the famous Camino Francés – French Way, from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. This is the classic and most popular Camino experience, taking pilgrims across farmland, hamlets and market towns of rural Galicia on your way to Santiago.
For those tours finishing in Santiago de Compostela, you will be able to apply for your Compostela certificate at the Pilgrims Office.
Camino to Rome – departing 12th September
Walk the last 100kms of the Via Francigena, the Camino to Rome, from the medieval town of Viterbo, across Lazio and into the Eternal city.
October and November
We also have a few Camino de Santiago guided tours departing in October and November 2015; All our scheduled tours for October and November tours cover the last section of the French Way – Camino Francés from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela.
