About Humans on the CaminoJoe-laverty-humans-on-the-camino

We are delighted to be joined by photographer Joe Laverty.

Joe is an Irish photographer, based in Belfast. He first walked the Camino de Santiago in 2007, returning in 2014 and again in 2015. He has been documenting the stories of fellow pilgrims that he has met through portrait photographs and excerpts from their long conversations, through his ‘Humans of the Camino‘ series.

Joe has long been a fan of slow travel & slow journalism. These portraits of fellow pilgrims exude that familiarity with the subject, that can only come about by time spent together.

He is a regular contributor to Freckle Magazine & The Thin Air.

This is a free event for all CaminoWays.com friends and customers but we have limited space so make sure you get your ticket in advance.

*If you can’t attend, please let us know so we can give your ticket to someone on the waiting list. Contact: marketing@caminoways.com.
