Camino FAQ: Do you transfer the luggage on the Camino?
A luggage transfer service is included as part of your Camino de Santiago package with CaminoWays.com. Your luggage will be moved from hotel to hotel, generally arriving at the hotel before the end of your day’s walk (generally by 4pm). When you arrive it is already there! Let answer the questions: Do you transfer the luggage on the Camino?
For your walk, you just have to carry a small bag (day backpack) containing the essentials for the day: water, food, light jacket.
The next morning, just drop your bag at reception (by 8.30am) and make sure the CaminoWays.com tag with your name is on it. This service covers 1 piece of luggage with a maximum weight of strictly 20kg per person (please note if you are walking one of the French routes, the maximum allowance is 15kg).
Please contact the CaminoWays.com team regarding any extra luggage you may have for your Camino de Santiago adventure.
Please note additional bags must be booked prior to your trip and they will be charged separately.
