Booking a Camino de Santiago holiday with CaminoWays.com is simple and easy. All our holidays are tailor-made and our team are always happy to assist. You simply have to book your flights and, based on your dates, we organise an itinerary for you.
This is how we recommend you plan your trip:
1-Request a proposal
Request a proposal from the CaminoWays.com team with your chosen Camino de Santiago itinerary by filling our online form, by email or by phone.
Dates on our itineraries are completely flexible (for self-guided tours, our guided tours depart on specific dates). The purpose is to give you a detailed account of the route, days and cost.
2-Book your flights
Once you have your itinerary proposal, it is time to book your flights. If you need help finding the closest airport to your starting point, we have a handy online airport flight finder and airport guide. Each holiday also includes an ‘access’ tab with information about transport.
3-Book your Camino holiday
Once you have your flights booked, it is time to contact the CaminoWays.com team to confirm your itinerary and book your holiday. The deposit amount required is €180 per person or 20% if you are completing two sections or more. Full payment for the trip will be due two months before departure. Once your deposit is paid and booking confirmed, the reservation process starts.
This is the time to discuss any changes to your itinerary, as changes requested once reservations have been made, might result in change fees (see step 5).
4-What are ‘change fees’?
A ‘change fee’ of €40 applies to changes made to bookings/reservations made with CaminoWays.com.
5-What is considered a ‘change’?
A change to your booking affecting travelling dates and reservations already made.
There is no change fee for the following: booking additional nights at the beginning or end or your journey (add-on), hotel upgrades or booking additional services such as meals, transfers, extra bags (please note bags are charged per item).
6-When can I make a change?
Changes to your booking can be done up to 14 days prior to departure. Changes can not be done while on the trip.
