Pilgrims on the Camino Portugues should pay a visit to Café Moderno Afundación in Pontevedra where they will enjoy a fascinating exhibition of 3D Camino pictures.
This unique Camino pictures exhibition is called ‘De Mar a Mar’ (from sea to sea) and honours the atlantic routes of the Way of St James, including the Camino Portugues but also the Camino Ingles and the Camino to Fisterra and Muxia.
The history, heritage, monuments, landscapes and pilgrim camaradery which make the Camino special are all reflected in 35 high resolution photographs designed to be enjoyed with 3D lenses.
If you are arriving in Pontevedra in the coming days or weeks we definitely recommend stopping in this fantastic gallery, in the centre of the historic town. The Café Moderno building itself is quite emblematic and worth a visit for its beauty and history. It was here where many important Galician writers and intellectuals use to meet.
The exhibition is open to the public until 3oth June and is hosted by Xacobeo and Turismo de Galicia, with the support of Afundación.
